Born in Ahafo Kenyasi, David completed his junior high school education at God’s Preparatory School. He then completed Presbyterian senior High School Bechem where he pursued a General Arts. He earned an A-grade in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and CorelDRAW after attending a three-month IT course. He later pursued a BSc in Mathematics with Economics at the University of Cape Coast (UCC), where he discovered his love for creative arts.
With a flair for visual storytelling, Mr. DaTe quickly rose to prominence in his field, capturing moments with precision, editing with passion, and delivering impactful media content for brands, campuses, and institutions. His work continues to blend technical skill with creative energy, making him one of the standout creatives of his generation in Ghana.
ACCOMPLISHMENTS
- Served as Media & Social Media Lead at the Design Thinking and Innovation Hub during National Service
- Produced branded merchandise and creative content for UCC Administration
- Played a key role in Mastercard-sponsored Ghana Grow project in collaboration with Edqlics
- Built and registered DaTe Media, a premium media business in Cape Coast
- Delivered visual and creative coverage for major academic and church events
- Continues to serve as a go-to creative partner for various educational institutions and ministries
CURRENT WORK
Mr. DaTe is currently working with:
- Kereben Empire Foundation as a Digital Marketer, responsible for photography, videography, graphic design, and managing social media content
- Zenacks Organics, focusing on product and brand photography/videography
- Little Angels Academy, where he creates marketing materials, flyers, and digital creatives
